Hi everyone! I know we said we would be better about blogging but we still aren't. We have been busy doing projects around the house. Just take a look.
Kat really wanted our mirrors framed. I got some crown molding from Lowe's for about 10 bucks
and stained them. overall cost, about $15 bucks. I think it turned out pretty nice.

We were at goodwill the other day and saw this dresser sitting on the sidewalk. We bought it originally to hold all her Scentsy and Mary Kay stuff, but the more we looked at it, the more we liked it as an entertainment center.
A few coats of spray paint and a little fiberboard to make the platforms where the drawers were and poof, we have a fancy entertainment center that will hold all our electronics now!
And last but not least, Kat had been wanting the stands that go underneath front-load washer and dryers, but they cost about $200 a piece. (and plus it looks silly if you just have one). So we decided that we could just build one.
I built a base of 2X4s
I put particleboard on top of the base and built up enough space for a bit of storage and enough space for a laundry basket.
Next I put on an MDF board on top. Then finished it all off with some spray painted MDF cut to size.
And put the washer and dryers on top.
We really like the extra storage. and Kat likes not having to bend over when she does laundry. Well, don't worry, I'll be back soon to post pictures of Iz. Until next time...
