2 month pictures

I know these are two days early, but this week is about to get {crazy} busy and I wanted to make sure they got done and posted. Little Miss wasn't too happy about being my model today, and I took about 100 pictures (no exaggeration)... Here are some of my favorites. Still can't believe our baby is 2 months old! Time needs to slow down, please!!

February 27th.... 2008-2011

Today is our third wedding anniversary. If you would have told us that on our third wedding anniversary we'd have a sweet little girl who would be 8 weeks old (on that very day) we would have laughed...... and here we are... Laughing!! We wouldn't change a thing, though. :) Don't you just love how God laughs at the plans we try to make?! ;)
Today is the perfect day to look back on this day three years ago... I was teaching, Casey was visiting me on leave (working with a recruiter a mile away from my school)... we were engaged; had a venue and other assorted things rolling for our wedding in August. We joked about going to the court-house in the mean time, but both thought it was just a joke... then the numbers ($$) started getting rolled around. Done. We knew this was the real deal- why not start making a little extra money now and start saving?! New front load washer and drier here we come! How exciting is that? Doesn't get more exciting for us!! The next thing I know I'm calling in and we were trying to line up witnesses. My sister, Amanda, my dear, amazing friend, Kirstie, and Casey's best friend Scotty... well, Scotty couldn't (he has a big boy job and couldn't just take off)... so Kirstie had to clean a house (what she was doing for money at the time) and then we were on our way to Norman to pick up Amanda and head to the court-house. I should state here that Amanda says she didn't really know that we were doing; she thought this was just preliminary paperwork for our wedding in August. OoOoPs. She was not happy about doing this- after all, NO ONE knew; except the five of us. Yep, that's correct- our poor parents somehow were left out of the loop. Yeah, not cool. I know, I know. We were silly, crazy in love, couldn't wait to be married, and most of all- wanted a new front load washer and drier! HAHA! No, but seriously... ;) So we said our 'I do's'.. didn't even have rings to exchange. (We honestly didn't think about this part and were quite embarrassed. We went RIGHT to the mall after the ceremony and bought bands.) We left the court house and my mom just happened to call.... I 'joked' about just leaving the court house, and she could tell there was a little seriousness to my voice. What can I say- I've never been able to lie to my mom!! Needless to say, neither she nor my dad spoke to us for two days. Two days later we all (both sets of parents, Amanda, and us) had dinner together and everyone was happy and understood why we did what we did, but we hurt they weren't there. We felt so ridiculous for not thinking of that- we honestly didn't think it was that big of a deal, but in all actuality it was a huge deal and having our parents there would have been great. Man. But Amanda and Kirstie are the ones on our marriage license as our witnesses and it is what it is. Now if Isabella EVER even THINKS about doing this she will be locked in her room for.... forever!!!!! Six months later we were married in front of all of our A*MAZING friends and family. It was seriously the most amazing and fun night... we look back and talk about our (second) wedding often. Such an amazing day.... so much love. If this is the first time you are finding out about this I hope you can join us in our laughter this year- too!! ;)

As I mentioned above, Isabella is EIGHT weeks old today!! Her two month apt is Friday (March 4th), which means shots. I'm terrified. I'll probably be crying more than she is... no, I know I will be. She's such a tough girl!
This is a 0-3 month onsie. She is 2 months old and it's still huge on her!! It wont fit her till May when it's (hopefully) hot outside and people will give me all kinds of looks for dressing my kid in polar-fleece during the summer. Who would have ever thought she'd be so little?! She's getting so long- but no chubby kid here!

Smart girl using tummy time to keep her paci in her mouth. Geez- isn't she cute?!!

Saturday was declared 'clean the house (finally) day.' We put Izzy to work, too.

Casey and Iz making the "Casey face."

Happpppy 3rd Anniversary my love!!!! These last three years have been crazy... we've moved, and moved again, grown closer and more in love by the day, grown to laugh at each other when all we really want to do is cry (insert our word here), know what the other is thinking without saying a word... You are my world. Thank you for being such an amazing husband and daddy. Can't wait to see what the next 33 years will bring us! Love you for forever and ever and ever!!
Also, Happpppppy Birthday to my A*MAZING friend Kirstie. You have been there for me through it all and I'm so thankful for your friendship. Thank you for sharing your 21st birthday with us three years ago... you're the bestest. XoXo Love you Lou!!

7 Weeks and SoOoO Sweet

Izzy is seven weeks old.... REALLY? What?? Where is the time going?? Make it stop!!! Please!! Ahh!!!
Ok.... whew. I feel like she isn't even a baby anymore... she's so grown up... and has such a personality! If she doesn't like something she will let you know!! Babies don't do that... well, ok, maybe they do... but I just feel like she's so grown up already. :( She is already doing so much that she couldn't before... lifting and turning her head, smiling, tracking like a rock star... just to name a few. Our baby girl is so sweet and we couldn't be more in love.
Now if only we could convince the Navy to let Casey actually have a little time off (aka- not working 3 weeks straight) and get to actually enjoy Isabella like I get to. He's such a great daddy and Izzy LOVES him soooo much. Whenever he is around she just stares and stares at him... and says, "Hi!! Hi!! Hi!!" She is most definitely a daddy's girl; nooo denying that.
The one and only thing (well, besides my 'Ruzicka' toe) Izzy got from me are my big ol' blue eyes. As we were bathing her last night Casey said, "One day she is going to bat those eyes at a guy and get whatever she wants... Just like her momma does." Hehe- we Bolin girls gotta do what we gotta do.. what can I say?!

Uncle Devin and Isabella have the exact same hair line. ;-) She loves her Uncle Devin... it was pretty dang sweet, I do have to admit. She was having daddy withdraws this night (Casey was on duty, again) and Devin was just the ticket.

Exhausted after a long day of lovins.

Such a bummer that this picture is so dark- But Casey was holding Iz and we were lounging, watching TV and Izzy had her hand proped behind her head... JUST like her daddy always does! I swear, I gave birth to a girl version of Casey!!

I mean seriously-- could she look anymore like her daddy? I don't think so!!

She loves her baths!!

Such a happy girl!!

Sleepin' on momma.

Just chillin'.

Hiiiii momma!!

On Valentines day Casey came home with flowers ~ and some of them are just blooming and looking (and smelling) amazing!!

This is probably one of my favorite pictures of the grump from this week-- Holding her giraffe and making such a mad face! hahaha- Life as a baby is soooo hard and demanding! Poor girl!

Just looking adorable on the couch with my mom while she has her breakfast and coffee.

Peace. Dude.

Ginger FiNalLy noticed Izzy! Well, kinda.

Mik, Iz & Rian showing off their legs! Izzy's are the skinniest, by far- it's quite hillarious-- Mikayla is 2-1/2 months older- and Rian is exactly a month younger and Izzy weighs less than both of them... she's so tiny. She is still in newborn clothes, and even some of those still swollow her. I'm so bummed- because she has all these great winter clothes we bought (and received) and they wont even fit her till summer now!! Oooops!

Again, but with their bellies this time... Izzy is the smallest one... has the most attitude, though.

This girl loves her tummy time; in the sunshine. Ohhh yeah!

Lifting her head.

6 weeks and growing!

Isabella is now 6 weeks old and smiles often! LoVe it!
I need to get more pictures of her smiling, but every time she does I just grab her and kiss her and forget to get a picture... I'll work on that!

Izzy loves tummy time and looking out her window.

Izzy holding onto her paci and giraffe from Nana. Think she's afraid we are going to take them away from her?! ;)

Casey holding Rian and Iz.

Izzy is a huge fan of being held. Thank goodness for this carrier- we are both happy and I can get things done. Don't get me wrong- not much gets done, because of our endless cuddling time- but sometimes Casey likes clean clothes and dishes. ;)

We actually had some sunshine earlier this week (this is a big deal for here in WA!) and Izzy LoVeD it- we layed in the sun most of the day those two days. It was glorious, but is now long gone! :(

Izzy dancing on the couch.
Izzy was 8.4 lbs at her apt last Friday (5-1/2 weeks); her two month apt in March 4th. She seems to be getting longer and longer by the day, but not any chubbier. She is such a happy baby, for the most part, of course, and I'm loving all these smiles and coo's... Infact, Izzy says, "Hi!" very clearly. Yep, our child speaks at a month and a half old.
On Wednesday I have a colpo. scheduled- please keep me in your prayers that everything is clear and we can finally be gone with that. No fun.
Love.
